1 killed June 13, 2015 Dallas Armored Van Police Headquarters Shooting Gunman James Boulware attacked the Dallas police station in a modified armored cash delivery van. He opened fire at the entry, damaging windows and the front desk,  rammed a police car, and shot up occupied police cars. He placed a half-dozen pipe bombs around the building, one of which exploded when removed by a robot. After a chase and standoff at a restaurant, police used an armor piercing 50 cal rifle to disable the engine block, and a sniper killed the suspect. Boulware had made a rant on 911 just before the attack, he had been arrested making terroristic threats to churches and his family, and blamed police for losing child custody and calling him a "terrorist".  Like many domestic terrorists, he was an anti-police and anti-government conspiracy theorist who "heard voices"

His mother call 911 and then struck Boulware in the back of the head several times with a laptop computer while he was fighting on the ground with his uncle. Boulware left his mother’s house and went to his brother’s home in Paris, Texas, where he removed several guns, rifles, body armor and several boxes of ammunition and left. His family told police Boulware had recently made comments about “shooting up schools and churches.”(RawStory) 2013  2013 , Boulware was involved in a family argument, choking his mother and assaulting his uncle, before going to his brother’s house in Paris, where he took multiple weapons, ammo, and body armor, according to KXII. Later, during a “face time” call over the Internet, he threatened to kill all of the adult members of his family, as well as making a vague threat about schools or churches along the way. Boulware was later apprehended after police launched a full scale manhunt. His case was dismissed in April 2014 after he fulfilled several court-ordered conditions.

*Armoured Trucks

These are normally used for transporting cash. They should certainly not be sold to people with a criminal background with a history of making terroristic threats, hearing voices or mental instability. This particular van appears to have racks on either side for SWAT operations for police to stand.

A common meaning of armored car (or armored cash transport car, security van) is as an armored van or truck, used in transporting valuables, such as large quantities of money (especially for banks or retail companies). The armored car is a multifunctional vehicle designed to protect and ensure the well being of the transported individuals and/or contents.

Michael Hastings  This was clearly a US JADE Helm 15 Military operations  drill.  While watching all the early  videos, it was obvious that it was pre-planned, staged, units and participants pre-positioned.The story has changed several times since the initial videos. The first press-release was on video within 5 minutes of the shootings.
JADE Helm ops are planned to happen between Midnight to 4:00am, including live-fire and explosives, in urban, and suburban areas.
This was carried out by a 4 man Special Forces assault ops team,  using a black US federal agency up-armored van (DHS, FBI, BATF, etc),.
Someone tripped the fire alarms inside to cause the cops to go outside.
If this were not bogus, there would have been 50 dead cops .

The 2015 attack on Dallas police was an attack that occurred on June 13, 2015, when a man, James Boulware, attacked the Dallas Police Department from an armored van with what appeared to be a semi-automatic weapon. The shooting occurred at the department's headquarters in the Cedars neighborhood of DallasTexas. He then led the police in a chase to nearby Hutchins, where he remained in the van in a standoff with police.[1] The standoff ended when a police sniper fired a round from a .50-caliber rifle disabling the engine block as well additional rounds into the vehicle to disable the driver. After sending in robots to confirm and attempt to make entry into the vehicle, they used water charges to breach the windshield and was able to verify that the suspect was the only person in the vehicle and he was deceased.[2]Police also found four bags outside of the police headquarters, containing pipe bombs.[1]

Attack[edit]

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on June 13, a man parked an armored van in front of the Dallas Police Department headquarters. There, he opened fire using what appeared to be a semi-automatic weapon.[3] When police officers responded, the man rammed a Dallas Police patrol car and began shooting at officers from inside the van, striking the squad cars. He fled in the van to Hutchins, Texas, ten miles south of Dallas, where the van stopped in the parking lot of a branch of Jack in the Box. Further gunfire was exchanged with the police, a perimeter was set up around the van, and a SWAT team was called in.[4]
The driver identified himself to police as James Boulware and claimed that the police had taken his son and had accused him of being a terrorist. He then cut off communication with officers after making increasingly agitated and angry rants against police. The driver then threatened to blow the police up. The standoff continued as SWAT officers used a .50-caliber rifle to disable the armored van.[4][5] The standoff ended when a sniper fired additional rounds into the vehicle, killing the driver.[6]
Police subsequently sent in robots that used water charges to breach the windshield and were able to verify that the suspect was the only person in the vehicle and that he was deceased.[6] Police robots also used water charges to disable two sets of pipe bombs found in the van and then destroyed the vehicle, which was identified as a purpose-built "Zombie Apocalypse Assault Vehicle and Troop Transport" with gun ports and armor-plated windows, in a controlled explosion out of fears that it was booby-trapped with explosives.[6] No police officers or civilians were injured in the incident.[7] Four suspicious bags were found left at the police headquarters, one of which was found to contain pipe bombs. Another bag exploded when being moved by a police bomb disposal robot while a third bag found under a police vehicle was detonated by an explosive ordinance disposal team.[4] At 6:19 a.m., the headquarters building was confirmed clear of all explosives.[4]

Suspect[edit]

Dallas police initially stated that up to four suspects were involved in the attack on the Dallas police, but later said they believed only one person was involved and the reports of multiple suspects had been due to him changing positions during the attack.[4] The only clearly identified suspect communicating with police gave his name as James Boulware.[8] News reports confirm that Boulware was arrested in Paris, Texas, in 2013 after an instance of family violence, and several firearms he owned were also confiscated. His family members then reported to authorities that they were concerned that he might go on a shooting spree after he threatened to kill all the adult members of his family and to shoot up some churches and schools.[9]Boulware later on made threats against a judge in his child custody case after he and the mother of his eleven-year-old son lost custody of their son to Boulware's mother, on the grounds that they were unfit for sole custody of the child.[10]

The Facebook post described the van as a way to survive the Zombie apocalypse:
Zombie Apocalypse Assault Vehicle and Troop Transport. This full armored zombie busting vehicle features convenient gun ports so no zombie juice touches you during a mass zombie take down. It also has benches in the back so you can take turns resting during long Zombie sieges. The tactical step boards are installed for when you only need swords and axes for drive by mow downs. The bumpers are made of reinforced steel tubing, so no dents from smashing zombie heads! It’s full armor plated and has bullet proof windows just in case you run into other zombie hunting hordes who might try to take this bad boy from you. Like anything, there is a price attached to this fine piece of zombie fighting machinery. Check it out on Ebay, this might be your lucky day!
According to the EBay listing, the van for sale was a 3-door 1995 Ford E-Series with aftermarket additions including gun ports, tactical step boards, Lenco Certified Mil-Spec Armor, interior armor and reinforced bumper steel tubing.
It was previously purchased from Pickens Company in South Carolina, but it’s not clear if that was before or after the additions were made.
