No intended targets were hurt but 16 so-called bystanders are wounded who supposedly were not targeted, so it appears the gang gunfight was really a thinly staged cover to attack the crowd.  Mayor Mitch Landrieu declared it domestic terrorism, but the liberal media basically gave the event a low profile. Joseph "Moe" Allen, 32 was arrested and faces 17 counts of attempted first-degree murder in connection with the Bunny Friend Park shooting. Allen is a convicted felon and has been charged with home invasion, carjacking, illegal carrying of weapon and possession of cocaine and heroin. Scott’s younger brothers, Akein “Keemy” Scott and Shawn “Shizzle” Scott, have pleaded guilty to numerous charges related to the 2013 Mother’s Day shooting in which they also opened fire into a second line crowd, leaving 20 people injured.

May 23 2013 Niger Arlit uranium mine and Agadez military base car bomb attacks (wikipedia) two coordinated attacks perpetrated by Islamist affiliates targeted the two Niger towns  of Agadez and Arlit, the first being a military base the other a French-owned and operated uranium mine. In the first attack on the Niger military base, in which eight attackers participated, 23 soldiers and a civilian were confirmed dead by the next day. The second attack by two suicide bombers also claimed a worker at the mine. The Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO) later claimed responsibility, saying "We attacked France and Niger for it's cooperation with France in the war against Sharia (Islamic law)". They also promised more attacks to come in retaliation for Niger's involvement in the Northern Mali conflict. Reports suggested Islamist leader Mokhtar Belmokhtar of being the "mastermind" of both attacks, supervised by his brigade the "Signatories of Blood". These were the first such attacks within the country in Niger's history. Mokhtar Belmokhtar is an Algerian terrorist, military commander of Al-Qaeda in the Maghreband his own brigade, kidnapper, smuggler and weapons dealer. Belmokhtar claimed responsibility a terrorist attack on 23 May 2013. In this attack, a French-owned uranium mine in Arlit,Niger, as well as a military base 150 miles away in Agadez, were attacked by suicide bombers with truck bombs. Experts saw no reason to doubt the claim of responsibility. Anouar Boukhars of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace saw the bombing as retaliation for the earlier French intervention in the Northern Mali conflict.[10]
