The commonwealth's highest court on Monday said it would not review the case of Gregory Brown Jr., 38, who was sentenced to three life terms in the February 1995 fire on Bricelyn Street in Homewood. Prosecutors alleged that Brown poured a half-gallon of gasoline on some clothes in the basement of the four-story home in hopes of collecting $20,000 in insurance money for a down payment on a new home. Authorities said Capt. Thomas Brooks, 42, Patricia Conroy, 43, and Marc Kolenda, 27 suffocated when their air tanks ran out as they tried to grope their ways out of the rapidly burning home. Brown, who was 17 at the time of the fire, was convicted of second-degree murder, arson and insurance fraud. terrorist attack April 19, 1995 168 killed 680 injured Oklahoma City bombing was a domestic terrorist bomb attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City on . Carried out by Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, the bombing killed 168 people and injured more than 680 others. The blast destroyed or damaged 324 buildings within a 16-block radius, destroyed or burned 86 cars, and shattered glass in 258 nearby buildings causing an estimated $652 million worth of damage. Stated motive was retaliation for the US federal government's handling of the Ruby Ridge and Waco sieges [just like the train derailment at Palo Verde later that year], though some conspiracy theorists believed that despite quick dismissal of any links to the middle east, they indeed could be linked to Ramsi Yousef, Saddam Hussein's regime in Iraq, and Iran. The blast destroyed or damaged 324 buildings within a 16-block radius, destroyed or burned 86 cars, and shattered glass in 258 nearby buildings, causing at least an estimated $652 million worth of damage.

She was given a consecutive ten-year term with five years of parole ineligibility for the second-degree assault of Detective Richard Norcross.
