1. 3/8/2017 crash: into building Distracted  student permit driver crashes into SC Subway restaurant South Congaree, SC (WLTX) - South Congaree Police say a woman crashed into a Subway restaurant Wednesday afternoon, leaving a gaping hole in the business. woman was distracted while driving her car  wasn't sure if she hit the gas or not, but the next thing she knew, she drove through the glass storefront. driver wasn't injured either, but she was charged with reckless driving and violation of a beginners permit.

March 8, 2017 killed: 39  Guatemala Virgen de la Asunción Orphanage Protest Arson Fire  At least 39 girls were killed when a fire broke out during a protest of conditions including  protest the sexual and physical abuse after a mass escape at the Virgen de la Asunción orphanage in San José Pinula in Guatemala. Some activists condemned the safe home as a "chicken coop" which mistreated and tortured minors deprived of their human rights. A neighbor heard desperate shouts of help from three girls to help them commit suicide: "Give me pills, a knife or something, we do not want to live here" as she "never imagined the horror that these girls could live" said the neighbor. Two girls shouting that "they were going to sacrifice so that everyone knew what they lived in there." but only noticed the fire minutes later.
